Chances are high you’re reading this from your cellphone and prefer visuals over long reads. Because of that -and let’s face it, these introductions often tend to feel a bit ‘icky’ too- i’ll keep it short.

The last 7 years I’ve closely worked for a number of businesses and organizations within the sports marketing-field. Both commercial and semi-government. Within these years working as a Content Creator / Social Media Marketeer I naturally began to gravitate towards storytelling through sports and event-photography. Capturing authentic moments, so the audience can relate.

Working for HYROX Benelux, the Dutch Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF) and TeamNL I’ve experienced both the power and struggle of momentum and trying to effectively reach and hold the right audience.

I believe in the power of consistent storytelling and authenticity. While shooting I therefore try to capture as much raw emotion and moments as I can. Looking for that one moment of emotion that often goes unnoticed, but tells the exact story your audience can relate to in a world full of AI and an ever changing social media algorithm.
